Interview With Chocoviv: Finding Your Tribe

Introduce yourself! Tell us a bit about you and where we can find you on social media too!

I am lifestyle blogger. Find me on IG, Twitter and Pinterest under Chocoviv.

My blog is https://Chocoviv.home.blog

Why did you start blogging?

I started because after many years of working on social media platforms and writing blogs for businesses, it was time. I needed a creative outlet.

Tell us about your niche and your blog

It is a lifestyle blog. That means I focus on the fashion, food, arts, entertainment and travelling through the lens of this mommy!

What is the best thing about blogging for you?

I get to share everything I experience or try to my subscribers!

What’s your favorite social media platform and why?

I love Instagram because I am a visual person so I love looking at the different ways people take those IG photos. However, I am leaning towards Twitter now.

What would say to someone interested in blogging or just starting out?

Remember, your closest friend and family members will mostly likely ridicule your blogging endeavours and not support you. Don’t feel discouraged! Search and grow your tribe of support!

What was the most challenging thing about being a blogger for you?

There is so much I want to write and talk about! Need to really narrow it down and be selective about topics.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?

I am a Certified Sports Nutrition Consultant and a Chinese school teaching assistant. I love to watch movies, sing karaoke, and shopping for deals!

Name a female blogger or business owner who inspires you and why.

Christine Awram, founder of Woman of Worth, inspires me to grow my tribe of support.

What advice would you have for women wanting to start their own business?

Read “Moms in Business: 15 Success Stories with Soul”.

Anything else you want to add?

Stay strong, set boundaries and believe in yourself!
